Affixing the type plate
Fig. 18
Connecting the pellet supply and return air hoses
When installing the hoses, note the following:
■
Choose the shortest route to the boiler.
■
Height differential: Max. 5 m
■
Hose length to boiler: Max. 15 m
Note
Long hoses increase wear on the motor.
Install the hoses such that they are not under ten-
■
sion.
■
Never kink hoses. Bending radius: Min. 300 mm.
■
Route the hoses so they are as straight and level as
possible. If the hoses are laid such that they climb
and fall repeatedly, there is a risk of blockage.
Earth the hoses to prevent static load.
■
Do not subject hoses to temperatures in excess of
■
60
C.
°
Affix the type plate to the l.h. casing panel.
■
Once installed, the hoses must not be in contact with
hot components. Allow adequate clearance.
■
The pellet supply hose must be a single piece. The
return air hose may consist of several pieces. Use
metal connection pieces to ensure continuous earth-
ing.
Never route hoses outdoors (risk of becoming brittle
■
due to UV radiation).
■
Never route hoses so they are touching walls (risk of
sound transmission during pellet transport).
■
Secure hoses with clips at least every 1000 mm.
Note
We recommend fitting the clips of the hoses with
anti-vibration rawl plugs.
