► No naked flames; do not smoke.
► Shut down machine; switch on
ventilation.
► Leave danger zone.

Keep a written record (operating log – see
appendix
8 .1) of operation of the EM-20/39. Copy the
form from the appendix for this purpose and fill it out
accordingly.
5.1
Switching on and off
(1) Check that all safety equipment is installed and
fully functional. The gas tap must be open. The
gas pressure must be 20-50 mbar.
(2) From the "Heating mode selection" switch on the
display (
F ig. 8/1), press the AUTO button. The
operating indicator and the display
light up on the programming and display field
(see page 15
