4.2

Casing

The casing of the EM-20/39 consists of a frame with
noise attenuating elements for the engine/generator
unit. Ventilation is ensured by the extract air fan at the
back.
Supply air is drawn in via the floor pan.
The average frequency of the sound insulation of the
hood is approx. 20 dB.
Noise attenuating elements can be removed
individually for the purpose of installation work.
4.3

Control panel

The control panel is attached to the front of the base
frame and contains the electrical components for
operating and controlling the EM-20/39.
4.4

Control unit

The control unit is integrated into the control panel.
The EM-20/39 is programmed and operated via the
control unit.
4.4.1
Programming and display field
The programming and display field consists of an LCD
and a foil keypad. The LCD shows measured values
plus operating and fault messages. The foil keypad
features function keys for adjusting the set values.

4.4.2 Display
After switching on the machine, the standard screen
appears on the LCD display, showing the current
outputs of the EM-20/39.
