8.4 Using detergent and softener

8.4.1 Detergent drawer

The detergent drawer is composed of three compartments:

• When using detergent, softener, starch, fabric dye, bleach
and descaling agents to be added through the detergent

on the package and follow the dosages specified. Use a
measuring cup, if any.
• For programmes where liquid detergent dosing is selected,
do not add any powder detergent.
• Do not use liquid detergents or other cleaning products
other than fabric softeners produced for washing machines
to soften the clothes.
• Do not use washing agents such as viscous jelly detergents
