9 PTTRN NO (REEL) button
PTTRN NO (wipe pattern number):
Press this button, lighting it, to specify
a wipe pattern to use by entering the
pattern number.
REEL (SHIFT + PTTRN NO): Displays
the reel numbers of the VTRs.
Note
Pressing this button puts system into a
mode in which you can enter a reel
number. However, note that 0992 to
0996 and 0999 are reserved numbers
and are not available. Also, the
numbers shown in the following table
are assigned to external input or
internal signals and cannot be used as
VTR reel numbers.

0 TRANS TIME (EDIT NO) button
TRANS TIME (transition time):
Displays the time from the start to the
end of an effect in the R-VTR time
counter display panel.
EDIT NO (edit number) (SHIFT +
TRANS TIME): Press this button,
lighting it, to display the 4-digit edit
number of the current edit in the R-
VTR time counter display panel. In
this state, entering another number
loads the corresponding edit from
EDL memory.
Depending on the state of the edit,
an "n" (new edit), "r" (recorded
edit), or "d" (deleted edit) appears
before the number.
qa GO TO (SCR GO) button
GO TO: Cues up the VTRs to the
flashing edit points (IN point, OUT
point, effect start point, or edit start
point) displayed in the time counter
display panels.
SCR (scratchpad) GO (SHIFT + GO
TO): Cues up the VTRs to the
position of the timecode displayed in
the scratchpad.
