TURBO FORCE - ANTENNA CONNECTIONS

The small (rubber ducky) antenna that comes pre-mounted on your Turbo Force is actually a two part
assembly, the antenna itself, and a right angle adaptor. To remove the antenna assembly, grasp the
chromed connector next to the Turbo Force, press in slightly and twist ¼ turn counter clockwise. Now
pull straight back and the connector will slide off the mount base.
The antenna can now be removed from the right-angle adaptor with a ¼ counter clockwise twist and a
firm straight pull. The antenna is capable of being connected straight onto the Turbo Force. Press the
antenna onto the machine connector, turn until the pins align and the antenna slips onto the base.
Now give a ¼ clockwise twist to lock the antenna on. Give a gentle tug to be sure it is secure.
When dealing with difficult radio situations, improved reception can be gained by connecting the
antenna straight onto the Turbo Force.

- Page 2 ¼ clockwise twist. Now connect the right angle adaptor to the antenna base on the Turbo Force, line up the pins, slide the connector on and secure with a ¼ clockwise twist. Give a gentle tug to be sure it is secure.
