Operation of Scooter: 1. Turning on the power Insert key into ignition and turn clockwise to turn the scooter on. The battery indicator will display the current charge level when on. Turn the key counter-clockwise to power off when stopped. 2. - Page 6 3. Headlights The headlights have three different functions. Running lights, headlights low beam, and headlights high beam. They can be controlled by the buttons on the handlebar assembly. 4. Horn The horn button is located on the right-hand side of the handlebars, just below the lights control switch, and is red.
- Page 7 5. Storage Box Under Seat There is a locked storage compartment underneath the seat that can be used to storage valuables. To open, first start by making sure the seat is adjusted all the way forward. Then, insert the key into the ignition and turn the key counter clockwise without pushing inwards.
- Page 8 7. Rear Cargo Box The rear cargo box is locked, and can only be opened with the scooter’s key. To open, insert the key into the lock cylinder, and turn and hold it 90 degrees clockwise while lifting on the cargo box lid. 8.

Safety Requirements: Driving Surface The EW-44 has the best stability and performs the best under the normal driving conditions (dry, level ground with concrete or asphalt).
