8. UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) Function

The ST-5602 has the UPS function to automatically operate from the Ni-cd battery in the event of a power failure.
When a power failure has occurred, the machine automatically switches to operate from the battery. However,
the CRT will not operate.
The thermal printer receives power from the Engine Box. Since it consumes much current, it cannot print while
the UPS operates. When a power failure is detected, thermal printer printing should be stopped immediately. Use
the function contained in the hardware to stop printing when the power failure is detected.
