Plug-in Test Card The Plug-in Test Card The Plug-in Test Card, model 751366, is a monitoring device designed for use with the Teleline/Fiberline multi-card shelf. It is not intended to be left permanently installed inside the shelf, and so extends two inches beyond the isolation cards to prevent the shelf cover from being closed.

751366 Plug-in Test Card The following is a description of the elements of the Plug-in Test Card block diagram. Lead Extensions The Plug-in Test Card provides direct Lead Extensions for: • CO side Tip 1, Ring 1, Tip A, Ring A, CT equivalence, and remote ground.

751366 Plug-in Test Card Installation The Plug-in Test Card plugs into any slot of the Teleline Three, Five or Eight-card Shelf. The card may be installed in any slot when verifying the supply voltage, or in the slot which contains the card in need of troubleshooting due to a problem with the circuit.

751366 Plug-in Test Card Caution Always isolate yourself from station ground when using this test card for hazardous voltages may appear on the CO side cable pairs and remote ground connection without warning! Note This Test Card provides test access to CO side and Station side cable pairs, and to the shelf powering.

When moving the card, carry it in an ESD safe container or the antistatic bag, provided with the card. Failure to follow ESD precautions may void the warranty. For further information concerning ESD precautions, contact Positron’s Customer Support department. Warning The “CAUTION” notations on the faceplate of the card must be strictly adhered to.
