If the software does not detect any W41PC card the message shown below is displayed. This
indicates that the installation procedure has not been correct.

W41PC Software Uninstallation

In certain situations, e.g. a software update, it is necessary to uninstall the software. With the
following commands it is very easy to do:
WAVECOM Decoders v6.15 W40PC, W41PC, W51PC
•
The address set on the PC card is not the same as the address
entered in "Setup".
•
The address is used by another application. Earlier in this section of
the manual the procedure to find a free address is described.
Cause and remedy
Hardware or software error on the W41PC card.
Restart the program.
The loader program or one of the "*.OUT" or
"*.LOD" files are missing. Installation is not correct.
Reinstall the W41PC software.
Hardware or software error on the W41PC card.
Restart the program or contact you vendor.
Device driver missing in WINDOWS. Reinstall
W41PC the software.
Wrong device driver version in WINDOWS.
Reinstall W41PC the software.
Software error. Write down error code and contact
your vendor.

Click on "START", go to the "SETTINGS" menu and open
"CONTROL PANEL"
•
Select the icon "ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS"
•
Select "INSTALL/UNINSTALL"
•
Choose "W41PC" from the displayed list
•
Click on "ADD/REMOVE"
