SerialLink

Introduction

The SerialLink is a component of the decoder software. Although it is a separate application, it
is only useful when used in conjunction with the WAVECOM decoder software. The
SerialLink can send all data from text modes of eight decoder cards to eight different COM
ports. Each COM port might be configured.
Please note:
The SerialLink requires DCOM to have been correctly installed. For WINDOWS 95, DCOM
must be installed before installing the WAVECVOM software. For WINDOWS NT4, this
requires Service Pack 3 or later. If you have removed DCOM from your system, you will have
to reinstall it before using the decoder.
