Changing the iPad Language

Set up your device for the language you currently use. To select your language:
1. Choose Settings > General.
2. Select the Language & Region.
3. Select iPad Language.
4. Select your language.

Setting up Restrictions

Setting up Restrictions on a Device Running iOS 12 or later
Set up restrictions to turn off access to Safari, YouTube, iTunes, installing apps, deleting apps, Location,
In-App Purchase, etc. Also set restrictions on content (music, movies, and TV shows). To turn off items
you would like to restrict, from the device:
1. Tap Settings and then tap Screen Time in the left pane.
Note: The first time you select Screen Time, a Screen Time window will appear. Tap Continue and
select an option, depending whether the iPad is for yourself or a child. If you select the option for a
child, follow the additional prompts.
2. Select Use Screen Time Passcode and create a passcode.
3. Tap Content and Privacy Restrictions and set up specific restrictions.
Note: At any time, you can disable screen time by selecting Turn Off Screen Time. If you turn screen
time off, the restrictions you set up will also be turned off.
Setting up Restrictions on a Device Running iOS 11 or earlier
Use this feature to turn off access to Safari, YouTube, iTunes, installing apps, deleting apps, Location, In-
App Purchase, etc. Also set restrictions on content (music, movies, and TV shows). To turn off items you
would like to restrict, from the device:
1. Tap Settings, then General, and then Restrictions.
2. Tap Enable Restrictions.
3. Create a four-digit passcode.
4. Enter the passcode twice to set restrictions.
