5. Clean the surface of the magnetic mount adapter and the vehicle roof
with water and a soft cloth each time you demount it.
Mounting the ADFA on the tripod
During installation, please read and follow the general safety instructions
described in chapter Mounting the ADFA on a tripod on page 34.
1. Assemble the tripod. Extend the legs to align the tripod and that it
remains stable when the ADFA is mounted. Use the 2 spirit levels on the
tripod as a guidance.
2. Remove the adapter from the tripod head:
 Unlock the quick-release coupling by releasing the small silver latch
and push the dark gray lever to the side. In this position, the lever is
blocked and you can now remove the adapter from the tripod head.
3. Attach the adapter to the ADFA at the center hole (see red marking on
the picture below) and tighten it with a suitable tool (for example,
screwdriver, coin).
