5. Secure the ADFA using the security strap:
a. Thread the security strap through the gap between the magnetic plate
and the connection block.
b. Insert both ends through the opened left and right door and secure
them properly.
6. Route the RF cable through the open window not to damage the cable in
the vehicle door.

7. Connect the RF cable to the basic unit (see Connecting the RF cable to
the basic unit (SignalShark) on page 42).
8. If necessary, close the window pane without clamping the cable.
Closing the window pane too tight
The window pane or RF cable may be damaged if the window is
moved too far up.
 Close the window pane carefully and leave a gap open for the RF
cable.
