Replacing the RF cable connected to the ADFA

1. Unscrew the 6 screws of the cable connection compartment (using the
enclosed Allen wrench) and open the metal lid (see Figure 4).
2. Disconnect the cable connections from the ADFA (see Figure 5):
a. Unscrew the union nut (2) at the SMA connection.
b. Pull the control cable connector (1) on the ribbed plug head
backwards until the lock disengages.
3. Open the Velcro fastener at the strain relief and detach the cable.
4. Attach the new RF cable properly to the strain relief using the Velcro
fastener.
5. Connect the plugs of the RF cable to the ADFA (see Figure 5):
a. Place the control cable plug of the RF cable on the control connector
of the ADFA (1), so that the red marking on the plug points upwards
and forms a line with the slot in the control connector. Press the plug
with the locking bush into the connection until the plug lock is
engaged.
b. Place the SMA connector plug of the RF cable on the connector of the
ADFA (2). Carefully tighten this SMA connection with a torque wrench
(maximum torque ≤ 0.6 Nm).
Exceeding the maximum torque
The SMA connection may be damaged, when exceeding the
maximum torque.
 Do not exceed the maximum torque of 0.6 Nm
 Do not tilt and turn the cable while screwing
