Installing the ADFA

NOTE: The vehicle roof must be magnetic.
 During installation, please read and follow the general safety instructions
chapter Mounting the ADFA on a vehicle roof on page 33.
Mounting the ADFA on the vehicle roof
NOTE: When leaving the ADFA in the packaging with the radome side down while
mounting, it will lie stable and will not tip to the side.
1. Attach the magnetic mount adapter to the ADFA:
Place the magnetic mount adapter on the ADFA mounting plate and
fasten it by inserting and tightening the three screws with the enclosed
Allen wrench.
NOTE: Before attaching the ADFA on the vehicle roof, follow the safety instructions
for installing and handling the Magnetic mount adapter on page 33.
2. Clean the surface of the magnetic mount adapter and the vehicle roof
with water and a soft cloth. Make sure that the surfaces are dry after
cleaning!
