1 Click Start on the Windows® taskbar, then click Control Panel, Printers and
Other Hardware, and then System in the See Also menu on the left. The
System Properties window opens.
2 Select the Hardware tab and then click Device Manager in the Device
Manager box. A window opens, listing your notebook hardware devices.
3 Double-click DVD/CD-ROM drives. From the drop-down list, double-click
the drive name. A properties window opens.
Select the "Use this device (enable)" check box if it is not already selected and
then click OK.
