3 Quick Setup Connect the mains power/charge the internal battery Your Portable DVD player has an integral rechargeable battery, which needs to be charged before first use. 1. Press the OPEN button on the bottom left of the DVD compartment lid (when the screen is up) and remove the cardboard shipping protector (fig 5).
3. Replace the battery cover, making sure that it ‘clicks’ shut. Remote control working range The remote signal may not be received if there is an obstacle between the remote control and the remote sensor on your DVD Player. Note: Direct sunlight or other bright light sources shining on the remote sensor may affect the 16 Feet (5M) performance of the remote control.
Connect your DVD Player to an external source 1. Ensure that the DVD Player and the external External source ie; DVD Player source are both switched off and unplugged from the power supply. 2. Using the AV cable supplied, plug the single black plug into the AV IN socket (fig 3 ) on the right hand side of the DVD player (fig 11).
Power on/off using the In-car power adaptor 1. Check that the power switch on the right hand side of the DVD Player is in the OFF position. 2. Plug the small end of the In-car power adapter into the DC socket on the right hand side of the DVD Player (fig 13).
3.10 Using headphones You can connect headphones with a 3.5mm plug (not supplied) to the EARPHONE socket on the right hand side of your DVD Player. When you have headphones connected, the DVD Speaker is turned of and all sound is via the headphones.
Skip forward. Fast forward. During playback each press increases the fast forward speed from 2X, 4X, 8X & 20X. The next press of the button will resume normal playback. Stop – Press once to pre-stop. Your DVD Player will remember the place where the disc was stopped.
Repeat play (DVD/CD/JPG) DVD: If available on your DVD disc, your DVD player has repeat options of CHAPTER, TITLE, REPEAT ALL and OFF. 1. Repeatedly press the REPEAT button to display and activate each available option. CD: If available on your CD disc, your DVD player has the repeat options of REPEAT 1 (single track) and REPEAT ALL (repeats all the tracks on the disc) and REPEAT OFF.
Audio Often a DVD disc will include more than one audio track e.g. 5.1 or Stereo Audio. 1. Press the AUDIO button to cycle through the available options and stop when the option you would like is displayed. Note: This DVD player does not support DTS audio. If you select a DTS audio track or one is selected automatically, you will not be able to hear any sound.
6. To go back to DVD mode, press the DVD/USB/SD button and use the left button to highlight DVD. Press the OK button. 5.10 Programming (DVD) During DVD playback, you can program the order of the Chapter or Title that you watch.

Password You can set the viewing rating for your DVD Player and protect this with your own password: Setting your own password: 1. Within the SETUP menu, scroll down and highlight PASSWORD and press the OK button. The 4 digit password and lock symbol will be highlighted 2.
6.10 TFT display The third setup up menu option display is for TFT SETUP the TFT display. You can change the display Brightness Contrast settings for the Brightness, Contrast, Hue and Saturation Saturation. Fig 18. You can use the Down, Left Right buttons to highlight each option and then press the OK button to confirm.
