Maintenance
Perform the following linkage adjustments,
the Speed-Control Linkage (page 28)
Adjusting the Tracking (page
needs maintenance. If any adjustment is needed, do
them in the order that they are listed.
Adjusting the
Speed-Control Linkage
1.
Park the machine on a level surface, disengage
the PTO, and engage the parking brake.
2.
Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait
for all moving parts to stop before leaving the
operating position.
3.
Move the speed-control lever (located on the
console) to the full forward position.
4.
Check the orientation of the tabs on the ends
of the speed control crank. Ensure that these
tabs are pointing straight down at the 6 o'clock
position approximately
5.
Adjust the threaded yoke at the bottom of the
speed-control linkage until the tabs are at the
6 o'clock position

Pull the speed-control lever back to the N
