Power Management Setup

Selecting "Power Management Setup" from the Advanced Options menu displays the following screen:

Description
ACPI power management
Selects the ACPI Suspend Type as S3 (STR, Suspend to
RAM) or S1 (POS, Power On Suspend)
Turn off the video by DPMS or Blank Screen or V/H SYNC
+ Blank Screen
Turn off the video when entering the Suspend mode.
When entering the Suspend mode, Stop Grant won't stop
CPU Clock, PwrOn (Power On) Suspend will.
This item lets you set an IRQ for the modem.
To enable or disable the detection of Primary IDE 0 (HDD
activities for power down state transition.
To enable or disable the detection of Primary IDE 1 (HDD
activities for power down state transition.
To enable or disable the detection of Secondary IDE 0
(HDD) activities for power down state transition.
To enable or disable the detection of Secondary IDE 1
(HDD) activities for power down state transition.
To enable or disable the detection of FDD, COM port, and
LPT port activities for power down state transition.
To enable or disable the detection of PCI PIRQ [A-D]#
activities for power down state transition.
