Power Management Setup

The Power Management menu lets you configure the
computer power-management feature.
The following screen shows the Power Management
parameters and their default settings:
Settings in boldface are the default and suggested settings.
Parameter Description
Power Man- Allows you to set the default
agement parameters for power-saving
modes. Set it to Disable to
turn off the power manage-
ment function. Set it to User
Define to choose your own
parameters. See the table on
Power Management Mode.
Suspend Lets you set the period of time
Mode after which the system enters
into Suspend mode.
HDD Power Lets you specify the hard disk
Down idle time before it enters the
power down state.
