Electric HVLP Paint Sprayer

Installation

Multi-Stage Centrifugal Blower

Make sure that the power supply voltage is the same as the value indicated on the machine's technical data
plate.
Make sure that the switch (#4) is in position O.
Connect the machine plug (#3) to an extension (minimum 1,200W).
Connect the hose (#2) to the multi-stage centrifugal blower (#1) (Fig. 2).

Paint and Materials Used

Paint manufacturers often specify the % for thinning the products; in general, this refers to brush or roller
applications. In fact, with the gun, the % must be higher. Tell your paint supplier that the product will be applied
using an HVLP (high volume low pressure) spray gun. Generally, in such case, the product must be thinned (try
thinning a small amount of paint first before thinning all of it).

Viscosity

"Viscosity" is the technical term used to indicate if a product if very
flowing or very thick; in the former, the viscosity is said to be low, while
in the latter, it is considered to be high.
The viscosity measurement is expressed in seconds. To measure
viscosity, fill the viscosity meter (#6) supplied with the machine with
paint (Fig. 1) and note how long it takes for the paint to pass through
the hole at the bottom of the viscosity meter. The TIME measured is the
viscosity value and is expressed in DIN-s.

General

This machine can use products with a viscosity ranging from 10 to a
maximum of 35 (35 DIN-s). A paint with a much higher viscosity can be
used ONLY for water-soluble products FOR OUTDOOR AND INDOOR
WALL APPLICATIONS. THE QUALITY AND TYPE OF PAINT ARE VERY IMPORTANT!
