Replace the self-locking nuts on the
burner flange each time you open the
burner flange.
If the heat insulation on the burner flange
or on the back wall of the heat exchanger
shows signs of damage, replace the heat
insulation.

Switch off the product using the on/off button.
2.
Close the gas isolator cock.
3.
Remove the front casing. (→ Page 12)
4.
Tilt the electronics box forward.
5.
Remove the vacuum chamber's front panel.

Undo the fixing screw (2) and remove the air intake pipe
(1) from the intake manifold.
7.
Undo the cap nut (3) on the gas valve.

Remove the ignition cable plug (3) and the earth cable
(4) from the ignition electrode.

Remove the plug (8) from the fan motor by pressing on
the locking lug.
10. Remove the plug (7) from the gas valve.
11. Remove the plug (6) from the Venturi jet by pressing on
the locking lug.
12. Undo the four nuts (1).
13. Pull the compact thermal module's assembly group (2)
out of the heat exchanger.
14. Check the burner and the heat exchanger for damage
and dirt.
15. If necessary, clean or replace the components accord-
ing to the following sections.
16. Fit a new burner door seal.
17. Check the heat insulation on the burner door. If you
notice any signs of damage, replace the heat insulation.

Cleaning the heat exchanger

1.
Protect the folded-down electronics box against
sprayed water.

The four nuts on the threaded pins (4) must never be
loosened or tightened.
3.
Clean the heating coil (2) on the heat exchanger (3)
using water or, if required, vinegar (maximum 5% acid).
Allow the vinegar to act on the heat exchanger for
20 minutes.
