Removing/Installing the Processor

This board supports a Pentium II processor which come in a new enclosed
packaging technology called S.E.C.C. (Single-Edge Contact Cartridge).
Removing the P2 with SECC Type Processor from the
System Board
NOTE Observe the ESD precautions when installing or removing a system
component.
5. Press the latches on both sides of the processor to release it from the
retention mechanism. You will hear a click once the latch is
released.
6. Firmly hold the processor module and pull it out of the connector.
