Update Channel List
You can update the channel list to the latest
one.
Signal Condition
You can check the quality and strength of
signals.
Press [CH W X] to select the channel.
[DVB-C]
• When the signal is too strong (red bar), reduce the
CATV signal. (For details, consult your dealer or the
cable provider.)
• When the signal is weak, check that the current
broadcast channel is correctly broadcasting.
[DVB-T] [DVB-T2]
• The channels you can receive are affected by weather
conditions, seasons, time (day/night), region, length of
the cable that is connected to the aerial, etc.
• When the signal is too strong (red bar), reduce the
signal amplification at your aerial. (For details, consult
your dealer.)
New Channel Message
Set whether to obtain the information
automatically when a new DVB channel is
added.
Child Lock
You can restrict the viewing/playback/recording
of channels unsuitable to children.

Child Lock List
1 Select the channel or AV input to lock.

Preferred Language
Select the language for multi broadcast.
If the selected language is not available, the
original language will be selected.
Audio Preference
Select the audio preference (Multichannel, Stereo
or MPEG). The type of audio to be output when
you watch a TV programme or play back a
recorded programme will be determined by the
selected preference.
• This is displayed only when Germany is set as
your country of residence in "Easy Setting".

Audio Description
When "Automatic" is selected, Audio Description
will be set as default while watching.
