This electrocardiograph is shipped with the battery disconnected to prevent discharge.
Caution To optimize battery operation and life, keep the electrocardiograph plugged in for at least 12 hours before using it on battery power.

Connecting the Battery

WARNING Disconnect the power cord from AC power before servicing.
1.
Unplug the electrocardiograph from AC power if connected.
2. Turn the electrocardiograph upside-down.
3. Unscrew and remove the battery door. See
4. Lift out the battery. See

Your electrocardiograph was shipped with the battery (DC) fuse disconnected.
5. Connect the wire terminal to the battery fuse as shown in the illustration. See
Figure 1. Removing the Battery Door
