Replace a D-Link cable in D-Link groupers <= SSR Task
STEP 34
Remove a D-Link connector from the bundle assembly groupers at both ends of the cable. Pry apart the two tabs
at the upper left and lower right. This can be done with fingers (see Figure 10 and Figure 11). Once the two tabs
are pried apart, pull the cable connector out of the grouper.

Obtain a replacement cable that the same or longer length than the cable being replaced.
STEP 36
Label the new cable, to match the cable being replaced.

Plug the connector of the new cable into the grouper at one end.
STEP 38
Clean all connectors in the grouper. See

Remove the wrap plug and plug the grouper in by positioning the grouper for the D-Link optical connectors at the
proper row, inserting all connectors in the grouper into their respective D-Port adapter receptacles (see Figure 11),
and clicking them all into place.
STEP 40
Route the new cable along the bundle alongside the cable being replaced, to the other end of the bundle, removing
the old cable while re-doing hook-and-loop tape or vinyl tape along the way.
