3. TOUCH PANEL CALIBRATION

Defi ne the coordinates used in this sheet.
P1 (X1, Y1)

P4 (X4, Y4)
: Point displayed on the adjustment screen (normally only
this point is displayed).
: Point displayed only on the test mode touch adjustment
screen.
• Touch adjustment (TOUCH ADJUST)
The 4 points on the screen, P1 (X1,Y1), P2 (X2,Y2), P3
(X3,Y3), P4 (X4,Y4) are the coordinate values (voltage
values) actually read by touch adjustment.
The points shown on the adjustment screen have 2 dots,
one for X and one for Y coordinate.
In normal mode touch adjustment, P2 and P4 coordi-
nates are acquired. In test mode touch adjustment, co-
ordinates of P1 to P4 are acquired (The reference point is
lower left, whose coordinate value shall be (1,1).

Note 1: In normal mode touch adjustment, "RESET" on the
touch adjustment screen resumes the data touch-
adjusted in the test mode.
Note 2: Factory default adjustment should be cleared, and
re-adjustment is enabled.
Note 3: Users cannot RESET the factory default condition.

Transits to the following screen, and displays a prompt
for Disc or USB memory insertion.
∗ Basically, only the title of APP Update is changed, and
the process is the same.
∗ Independent of the source, and insertion of DISC or
USB from any source can be accepted.
Therefore, if a DISC is inserted, XM module input
source is switched to DISC. If a USB memory is insert-
ed, input source is switched to USB.
∗ After entering this screen, reset is required to go back
to normal operation.
