Built-in units The appliances may only be installed by qualified and authorized experts. When installing units in a niche you have to assure the airflow of the forced air-circulation. Take special care, that during installation, ample space for ambient air circulation is provided behind the condenser. that the ventilation openings equal the surface of the condenser.
When connecting the unit, proceed as follows: Check if electrical data of mains correspond with those on the rating plate of the Beer Cold Rack. Connection to conform to IEC resp. CEI 335-1 and local regulations, i.e. fit the mains plug to the oil- resistant connecting cable that is heat-resistant up to 90°C, and connect to a mains socket.
10.2 Non-intended use Cooling units are not suitable for chilling foods. No foodstuffs having a higher temperature than indicated are to be filled into the tubs. Safe operation at temperatures of less than +4°C is not possible. The ventilation slots in the front and back panels of the display area may not be covered as doing so will result in cutting off air circulation and preventing the cooling function.
10.4 Setting the temperature The interior temperature is regulated by an electric temperature regulator. This is located underneath the cooling trough, behind the front flap, and is easily accessible. On the service side the cooling unit is set at a temperature of 5°C. Your desired temperature can be set by holding down the SET-button (4) and simultaneously pressing UP-button (1) for higher temperatures or DOWN-button (2) for lower temperatures.
10.7 Recirculating air cooling The refrigeration units work with circulated air. The cooling power is delivered from individual or central cooling units. The goods being presented are cooled in circulating air cooling shelves by means of a di- rected cold air haze. This air haze is moved by means of ventilators which suck the air from the goods area through a return air duct (1).
The products in the cooling unit can maintain the temperatures at which they have been placed in the counter. The supplier Beer Grill guarantees the full functionality of the cooling appliances cor- rectly filled with food. Repeatedly, we have checked and recorded temperatures in graphic images. These reveal: That automatic defrosting is performed every 2 to 3 hours.
10.10 Manual night blind The manual night roller blind should be closed overnight so save energy. It has individual stopping po- sitions. It works with a spring mechanism. The grips of the night blind can be hooked on below the price label holder.
The appliance must be cleaned inside and outside daily according to the hygiene regulations, because only this guarantees an optimal presentation of the goods. Attention, the Beer Cold Rack is an electrical appliance. Before cleaning disconnect the appliance of the mains (pull out plug / switch off main switch).
