SAFETY
General instructions
• The car seat is for car use only.
• The car seat is developed for an intensive use
of approximately 12 years.
• Do not use any load bearing contact points
other than those described in the instructions
and marked in the child restraint.
The Pearl 360 car seat in the car:
• The car seat can be rotated 360° by installing
it on the Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix 360 rotative base.
It helps you getting your child in and out of the
vehicle easily. This also allows you to change
the position of the seat from rearward facing to
forward facing.
• When the child restraint is installed in all
maximum positions, it may not fit in all approved
vehicles. Please check that all possible positions
of the car seat (recline positions and headrest
adjustment) fit in your car.
Your child in the Pearl 360 car seat
• The newborn inlay included in your Pearl 360
seat plays an integral part in the efficiency of
the restraint system for your child from 40 to 60
cm. It can be removed and the cover taken off for
washing, but it is essential to place it back again
where it belongs and only use this official Maxi-
Cosi Pearl 360 newborn inlay. This newborn inlay
is exclusively for use with the Pearl 360 seat.
• Make sure you can fit no more than one finger
between the harnesses and your child (1cm).
If there is more space than 1 cm, tighten the
harness belt further.
• Make sure the headrest is adjusted to the
proper height.
WARNING:
• When using Pearl 360 in a rearward-facing
position and with the Pearl 360 newborn inlay,
it is mandatory to use the maximum recline
position for a child up to 60 cm.
• The car seat must always be locked in the
rearward or forward facing position on the base
when travelling. Do NOT travel when the car seat
is rotated to a lateral (loading) position or to any
other unlocked intermediate position.
