Troubleshooting:
Follow the "1st Steps for DLS Troubleshooting"
in the beginning of this guide, if you have an
active error, procedure below.
Shut OFF the power supply.
Rotate the Indoor fan by hand.
Does the fan rotate freely?
18K ONLY - Ohm out reactor, remove wires first.
Reading should be close to Zero between
terminals. Also check each connection to ground,
this should be open. If not replace.
Replace fan motor and
Control Box Assembly
or Main PCB

Attention:
When replacing Main PCB ONLY,
you will need Conductive Grease.
Error may only displayed every 3 minutes, during this time you may
see either "normal display" or "88" on indoor unit or wired control.

Replace Entire Control Box Assembly

Replace Main PCB ONLY
F5 – Outdoor Fan Problem
Dr. Smart Display (Debugger) – E7 & E71
When the indoor fan speed is too slow (300 RPM
or less) for 3 minutes or more, the unit stops and
the LED displays the Error Code for 30 seconds.
Then retries until locks out.
• Wiring mistake
• Fan motor faulty
• PCB faulty

Free up, replace any broken
parts so fan spins freely
