Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008
Use the following procedure to install the PCL driver under a 64-bit version of Windows Vista and Windows
Server 2008.
1.
On the [Start] menu, click [Control Panel].
2.
Click [Hardware and Sound].
3.
Click [Printers].
4.
Click [Add a printer].
5.
Follow the instructions that appear in the "Add Printer" wizard.
If the printer driver is on the CD-ROM, the location of the driver will be \DRIVERS\PCL6\x64\MUI
\DISK1. If the installer starts automatically, click [Cancel] to stop it.
6.
Specify a port.
• Availability of ports will vary depending on your operating system and the type of interface you are
• using for connection to the printer.
Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2
Use the following procedure to install the PCL driver under a 64-bit version of Windows 7 and Windows
Server 2008 R2.
1.
On the [Start] menu, click [Devices and Printers].
2.
Click [Add a printer].
3.
Follow the instructions that appear in the [Add Printer] window.
If the printer driver is on the CD-ROM, the location of the driver will be \DRIVERS\PCL6\x64\MUI
\DISK1. If the installer starts automatically, click [Cancel] to stop it.
