This document describes 4.2.7.0 firmware release of the HelixNet Digital Partyline product family. Version 4.2.7.0 – Feature Release – Overview HelixNet version 4.2.7.0 firmware is a feature release which includes administrative functionality for user stations, support for HKB-2X-X7 which is new hardware variant adding (2) PTT/GPI assignable to keys, as well as feature refinements and bug fixes.

PTT/GPI (i.e. PTT1+PTT2) of the 7-pin headset connector are made together within 50ms. 67303 System Changes: IP Traffic DSCP QoS tag value change DSCP QoS tags for HelixNet and LQ audio streams have been changed to simplify users QoS switch configuration when HelixNet/LQ, AES67 and Dante share network infrastructure. Previously HelixNet/LQ audio streams used the same tag as PTP in AES67 and audio streams in Dante.

For devices running old firmware: • HelixNet 1.x endpoints should be stepped to be upgraded to version 2.0 and then onwards to version 3.1 before upgraded to version 4.x.
