Winterhalter Gastronom Dish/Utensils Washing Machine
GSR 36 / GSR 36 E
1. Employment
The Winterhalter Gastronom dish/utensils washing machine GSR 36 / GSR 36 E serves for
cleaning of dishes of any kind which are used in the gastronomy. The machine may only be
used for this purpose and has to be operated according to the operating instructions.
Any changement of the application and execution of the machine which is carried out without
our written agreement exempts us from guarantee and product liability.
2. Safety instructions for the operator
You can operate this machine without danger if you observe the following indications:

Only work with this machine if you have been instructed on the handling and the operati-
on.
·
Operate the machine only as described in these operating instructions.
·
Do not make any changements, modifications or attachments at the machine without the
agreement of the manufacturer.
·
Only use original fuses with the required current voltage.
·
Do not open panels or machine parts if you need a tool for this.
·
When handling detergent and rinse aid take notice of the danger indications printed onto
the respective packings.
·
During works which have to be done in the tank inside while the machine is in condition of
operation or when putting it out of operation daily, do wear protective gloves.
·
When cleaning please note that the machine is not splash water protected. Do not wash
down with a high pressure cleaner or a steam jet blower.
·
In case of failure, for which the reason is not the water or current inlet on site, immedia-
tely call the Winterhalter after-sales-service.

Installation and commissioning The installation of the machine and the service connections to the water supply and drain pipes must be effected in accordance with „Installation Instructions for Winterhalter Gastro- nom Dish and Utensils Washing Machines“. The factory representation of Messrs. Winterhalter Gastronom which is competent for the site of the machine, has to perform the first commissioning and the instruction of the personal according to the „Commissioning Instructions for Winterhalter Gastronom Dish and Utensils...
- Page 3 If necessary refill. Care has to be taken that the rinse aid container never gets completely empty after the first filling. Rinse aid dosing is automatical. As rinse aid we recommend our Winterhalter Gastro- nom rinse aid. Add 50g of detergent (powder) to the heated tank water.
- Page 4 In case the machine is equipped as a special accessory with an automatic dispenser for li- quid detergent, manual dosing is not necessary. As detergent we recommend our Winterhalter Gastronom powder detergent. After the pilot light „ready for operation“ (2) extinguishes, washing may be started.
- Page 5 GSR 36 E - A machine with integrated water softener With the type GSR 36 E with integrated softener (SoftMatik) the lightning up of the pilot light „REG“ (6) signalizes a lack of salt in the salt container. In this case fill the salt container with a special regenerating salt for water softeners.
- Page 6 Close isolation valve on site. Switch off main switch on site. Clean the machine outside with a soft cloth amd appropriate cleaning agents.. It is recommended that Winterhalter stainless steel cleaner and Winterhalter stainless steel polish be used. · Machine is not splash water protected. Do not wash down outside with high pressure cleaner.
- Page 7 We recommend the products which have been developed by us and are suitable for our machines. All indications about quantity and weight of detergent and rinse aid refer to Winterhalter pro- ducts. Besides the daily cleaning the machine should undergo a thorough maintenance, we recom- mend at least twice a year.
- Page 8 The adjustment of the rinse temperatures to the required values is exclusively done by the Winterhalter after- sales-service. This is done during the first commissioning or during installation works for the reversible rinsing.
