Uncrating the Unit
1. Lower the ends of the crate.
2. Remove the retaining straps.
Lowering the Deck
CAUTION
The mower deck is shipped in the "up" position,
but not latched. Removing shipping reinforcements
without supporting the front of the deck will cause
the deck to drop which may result in injury or
property damage.
Always securely support the front of the deck while
setting up the unit.

1. Tilt the seat forward.
2. If using an overhead hoist, place the hooks into the
rearmost upper hole of the ROPS mounting plate
located on each side of the frame (see Figure 1).
Raise the front of the unit and support it with jack
stands or equivalent support. Make sure the hoist is
holding the majority of the weight of the machine.
If driving the unit off the crate, lift the deck just
enough to remove the deck support and to insert
other supports into crate opening.
Important: The lift springs may be damaged if
the deck is lifted first.
