DESIGN AND FUNCTION Series 47 Function Valve is closed and opened pneumatically. Closing: The valve mechanism moves towards the valve opening until it touches the mechanical stop. Due to continued pressure, valve gate (1) with the assembled VATRING (7) and counter-plate (2) spread apart from the guide plate (3).This effect leaktight closing. Opening: When the end position is reached, the RF contact band (6), which is clamped to the patented VATKIPP mechanism (7), will spread apart and couple to the flange to provide a low RF resistance during its operation.
