Turn the jog dial downward.
The cursor shifts from the letter input
area to the character palette.
The cursor and character alternate.

Select a letter and press the jog dial to
enter.
The selected letter appears in the
letter input area and the cursor moves
to the next input position.
The cursor flashes at the next input
position.
The buttons used for character input
and their functions are listed below.

To move the cursor

right.

To enter a letter.
To insert a blank
space.
To delete a letter.

from the character
palette to the letter

characters of the label name.

more to enter the title
Re-labeling
You can change the titles by doing the
procedure for "Labeling" (page 47).
Notes
The recorder is able to display, but cannot
label using Japanese "Katakana" characters.
The recorder cannot rewrite a disc or track
name of more than 200 letters that was created
by another device (in MD mode only).
