It receives print jobs from computers and network and converts them into image data (video data) that the Konica 7020 series copying machine prints out.

    I Upgrading Firmware The IP-421 is equipped with a compact flash ROM and lets you upgrade the firmware in one of two ways: you can overwrite it via the parallel port, with the compact flash ROM left inside, or you can take out the compact flash ROM to overwrite the firmware.
