MESURES DE PRÉCAUTION
Important: Si l'orifice de succion ou le boyau ou les tubes de rallonge de l'aspirateur
sont BLOQUÉS, arrêtez l'aspirateur et retirez l'obstruction avant de l'utiliser de
nouveau.
1. Ne pas utiliser l'aspirateur près
des chaufferettes ou
radiateurs.
2. Avant d'insérer la fiche dans une prise
murale, assurez-vous que vos mains
sont bien sèches.
3. Avant de commencer le nettoyage,
assurez-vous d'enlever tout objet de
grande taille ou pointu risquant
d'endommager le sac à poussière
4. Pour débrancher la fiche de la
prise murale, tirez sur la fiche
plutôt que sur le cordon.
5. Évitez d'utiliser l'aspirateur pour
aspirer toute matière fumante ou
brûlante comme des cigarettes,
allumettes ou cendres chaudes.
6. Ne pas utiliser l'aspirateur sans que
tous ses filtres et son sac à
poussière soient en place.
Remarque: Cet aspirateur est doté d'une
fiche et d'un cordon d'alimentation qui
s'enroulent automatiquement. Si le
cordon ou la fiche viennent à
s'endommager, ils doivent être
remplacés par un technicien qualifié.

Avertissement: En enroulant le cordon,
tenez la fiche dans la main. Ne laissez
pas le cordon fouetter en s'enroulant.

Changing the Post Motor
Filter
• Filter should be cleaned at least twice
a year or when it becomes visibly
soiled.
• Always operate the cleaner with the
post motor filter installed.
• Disconnect from electrical outlet before
cleaning the filter.
• Do not use a washing machine to rinse
the filter.
• Do not use a hair dryer to dry it.
• Always allow 24 hours to air dry.
1. Remove the post motor filter cover
that is located the rear of the unit.

2. Remove the post motor filter from the
filter grill. (Fig. 9)
3. Rinse the post motor filter in lukewarm
water and let the post motor filter air dry
for 24 hours until it is completely dry.

4. Replace the post -motor filter into the filter
grill and replace back into the unit.

Motor Thermostat
Important:
This vacuum cleaner is
equipped with a motor protective
thermostat. If for some reason your
vacuum overheats, the thermostat will
automatically turn the unit off. Should
this occur, unplug the vacuum from the
wall outlet and turn off the switch.
Change the dust bag, clean the filters
and check for blockages in hose and
suction inlet. Allow the unit to cool for a
minimum of 45 minimum prior to
restarting the unit. To restart, re-plug
the vacuum into the wall socket and
turn the switch back on.
Power Cord
Your vacuum cleaner includes a power
cord, which is automatically retractable.
To extend your power cord, pull from
rear and extend to desired length. A
yellow mark on the power cord shows
the ideal cable length. Don't pull the
power cord beyond the red mark.
When cleaning is finished, first switch
off power and disconnect plug from
electrical outlet. Then press on cord
rewind button. (Fig. 11) If the cord
does not fully retract, pull it out again
and then press on cord rewind button.

Tool Storage
Your vacuum cleaner has a tool storage
compartment. The upholstery brush
and the crevice tool with brush are
stored here. (Fig. 12)
