With the VLC media player you can receive all free-to-air channels
available at the cable connection which your FRITZ!Box found during
its channel search.
Requirements
For TV reception in the home network, the "Live TV" function must be
enabled;

Start the VLC media player on your computer.
Open the user interface of the FRITZ!Box,
Select the „DVB-C / Channel List" menu and click on "Generate
channel list" with the right mouse button.
Select the command "Save destination to ..." and enter a storage
location.
Drag the TV channel list tvsd.m3u and drop it into the window of
the VLC media player.
Select a channel.
The program will be played.
