3 FDAP INSTALLATION

3.9.2 Wall or flat surface mounting

The wall mounting kit comprises a wall mounting plate and four screws as displayed in "Figure 6: Wall
mounting". Both mounting plates fasten to four threaded bosses on the back of the FDAP Gen3. The FDAP Gen3
should not be mounted on metallic walls because the integral antennas are too close to the wall and causes RF
propagation problems.
