It's strictly prohibited to rotate the speed accelerator before well seated as this could be extremely
dangerous. Please turn off the electric start switch immediately after getting off the vehicle.
The prolonged use in non-combined mode (without pedaling), at high engine torque in steep terrain, as
well as riding for a long time in SPORT mode will lead to greater energy consumption that could cause
the engine, controller or battery to overheat. In these situations, a self-protection system will be
automatically activated which progressively reduces the maximum power available as a function of the
temperature and external stress.
IF THE PERFORMANCE DEMAND EXCEEDS THE PHYSICAL LIMITS OF THE VECTOR, THE POWER WILL BE
TEMPORARILY DISCONNECTED UNTIL THE SYSTEM TEMPERATURE DROPS SUFFICIENTLY ENOUGH
BEFORE RESTARTING THE VEHICLE.
If the RED flashing warning light appears on controller, it is recommended that the Vector power level is
reduced and assisted by pedaling, or let the bike components to cool down for 5 minutes.
If this state is reached the self-protection system will completely disconnect the engine from power
source. You should wait for some time until the temperature returns to normal operating values
before starting the vehicle again. If you continue to operate the vehicle this could lead to damage or
fire!
The bike does not have warranty against overheating the motor! Never drive Vector in high power
modes without stopping every 10 minutes for 3 minutes or more to cool down motor to temperature
below 80C. Motor is equipped with temperature sensor, but during fast accelerations or high power at
slow speed the motor windings can get hot very fast and cause melt isolation before heating up the
temperature resistor in motor.
Speed between 15km/h and 25km/h IS THE MOST RECOMMENDED TO USE IN AREAS WITH STEEP,
LONG SLOPES. Riding at slower / faster speed can cause overheating.
IF YOU ONLY USE YOUR VECTOR IN ELECTRIC MODE, CONSUMPTION AND TEMPERATURE WILL
INCREASE AND RIDING RANGE WILL DROP.
