Prior checks

To make sure your Vector is ready for use, you must perform the following checks:
1.
Adapt the seat and handlebar position to your size so that they are in a safe and comfortable
position. Make sure all items are well secured and that they are in the proper position.
2.
Adapt the position of the brake levers so that you can always reach them easily. Make sure you
are very familiar with the brake lever configuration (front brake to the left / rear brake to the right).
3.
Check the operation of the brakes. Press each brake lever individually while pushing the vehicle
to check that the wheels lock completely.
4.
Check tire condition and pressure periodically.
6.
Set both the front and the rear suspension as you prefer.
7.
With the key in the off position operate the twist throttle and release it to check that it returns
to its initial position.
8.
Check the condition of the sprockets, transmission chain lubrication. Make adjustments if
necessary.
DETERIORATED TYRES OR TYRES WITHOUT THE CORRECT PRESSURE COULD BURST UNEXPECTEDLY AS
WELL AS CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. LOW PRESSURE WILL REDUCE THE RIDE RANGE
SIGNIFICANTLY.
AFTER A FALL OR A MOTO-BIKE ROLLOVER, YOU MUST PERFORM A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW BEFORE
RIDING THE VEHICLE AGAIN AND VISIT A VECTOR OFFICIAL SERVICE PROVIDER FOR A PROFESSIONAL
INSPECTION.
9. Check the electrical system of the vehicle (key, motor, controller, power wiring, front light (just in
case it is equipped with it)). All wires and elements must be in perfect condition and external connectors
correctly positioned. Check the battery charge level on the dashboard.
If after reading these instructions you still have questions, contact your Vector Official Dealer, who will
be happy to help.
THE LACK OF NOISE FROM THE MOTOR MAY BE MISLEADING WITH REGARDS TO THE VEHICLE'S POWER.
