Remove the nut and bolt that hold the idler arm to the
blower housing using a pair of 1/2" wrenches.
See Figure 3.11.
NOTE: There is a shoulder spacer under the nut.

NOTE: The nut is accessed through the inside of the
blower housing.

Disconnect the linkage (indicated by the arrow in Fig-
ure 3.12.) that connects the idler arm to the cable
idler bracket.
6.
Install the idler arm by following the previous steps in
reverse order.
7.
Test run the snow thrower in a safe area before
returning it to service.
