GENERAL WARNINGS

- Do not leave any packaging materials (plastic
bags, cardboard boxes, etc.) within the reach of
children as these can be hazardous.
- Before using the device, make sure that no
products or components are damaged. If it is
damaged, do not use the product and contact a
qualified technician or your dealer.
- Do not try to repair the product but contact the
Customer Service of Artsana S.p.A.
- Contact skilled technical personnel or Artsana
S.p.A. Customer Service in the event of failure.
- It is important to regularly check the proper
functioning of Teddy Baby, particularly before
each use, checking that signal reception is pos-
sible in the area and at a maximum distance of
the intended use.
- Do not cover and keep the holes of the speaker
clean to maintain the sound intensity of the
acoustic alarms.
- Product performance could be reduced consid-
erably indoors depending on the environmental
condition, interposed persons, the layout of walls
and furniture, the presence of metal structures,
electromagnetic disturbances/fields of external
origin, reinforced concrete walls, when rooms are
located on different floors or because batteries
are not fully charged, etc.
- To prevent the risk of overheating, keep the Teddy
Baby away from sources of heat, such as heaters,
thermostats, stoves, cookers, etc.
- Make sure to position the device so as to avoid
any risk of abrasion when in contact with chil-
dren's skin.
- Do not short-circuit the power terminals.
- Always remove dead batteries from the product to
avoid any possible liquid leaks that may damage it.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries
- The battery must always be replaced by adults
only and with other batteries having the same
characteristics as those indicated in these in-
structions.
- Dispose of used batteries in compliance with
existing regulations. Improper use of the battery
may cause fires, explosions or other hazardous
events.
- Danger of ingestion: the battery must be re-
placed by an adult in a place out of reach of
children.
- Chicco Teddy is not intended to replace the su-
pervision of children by adults. The technology
used does not give a real-time position of your
child and therefore your child's localisation may
be delayed by a few seconds depending on the
conditions of use. Pay special attention and make
sure that your child is within sight especially
when your child is in crowded places and/or
within the red strip.
- You can select the audio and/or vibration for the
alarms and alerts in the app through the device
customisation screen. The factory settings will be
reset when the device is switched on again (audio
and vibration ON).
- The product is not recommended for children
younger than 10 months of age.
- After closing the Teddy App as provided for by the
operating system of your device, Chicco Teddy
(or Teddy Distance Control) will emit a 10-second
acoustic signal.
- When the mobile phone is switched to silent
mode, there is no audio or vibration.
- To ensure optimal performance, before using the
application, we recommend deactivating and
activating Bluetooth mode again on the used
device.

2.1 Modes of use of Chicco Teddy
