Description
The PDC100(F) is a motor controller for
single-phase and three-phase motors
(DC/EC) with supply voltages to 48 V DC
and permanent magnets.
Supply voltage:
24 V DC for the logic unit (1L+, 2L+)
24 V DC to 48 V DC for the power
unit (4L+)
Maximum voltage of the power supply
units under fault conditions:
< 42.4 V DC for the logic unit (1L+,
2L+)
< 60 V DC for the power unit (4L+)
Output phase current for an EC motor:
Horizontal/vertical installation:
Nominal 2.2 A or 1.56 Aeff
Maximum 3.3 A or 2.33 Aeff
Output phase current for a DC motor:
Horizontal/vertical installation:
Nominal 2.2 A
Maximum 3.3 A
Typical power output with 48 V supply:
Horizontal/vertical installation:
Nominal 100 W
Maximum 150 W
The PDC100(F) drive controllers have
an internal braking resistor with
≤ 30 J/min to absorb the regenerative
energy of the motor.
To use the internal braking resistor,
terminals 4R+ and 4R- must remain
unconnected.
Recommended value
2.25 ohms...8 ohms
WARNING
Damage to braking resistor - Risk of
fire! You must implement fire preven-
tion measures for the external braking
resistor (e.g. fire protection housing,
temperature fuse). The externally con-
nected braking resistor cannot drop
below a value of 2.25 ohms, including
all tolerances.
See section Connecting an external
braking resistor (Page 28)
