Slide the Presentation Mode Switch from off to on to prevent the connected Host

Computer from going into sleep mode or placing a connected Display Device into
standby mode.
Inserting/Removing MicroSD Card
Inserting
Insert an MicroSD Card, label side up, into the MicroSD Card Slot on the Docking

Once inserted, push the MicroSD Card into the MicroSD Card Slot until it clicks into

Note: The Host Computer's Operating System (OS) will automatically detect the
MicroSD Card and install the required driver software.
Access the data stored on the MicroSD Card inserted in step 1.

Note: The MicroSD Cards may require formatting before they appear up on the Host
Computer.
Removing
Warning: Removal of an MicroSD Card before it is safe could result in the loss or
corruption of data on the MicroSD Card.
Windows
Click on the Up arrow on the right side of the Taskbar.

The System Tray will pop up, revealing a set of icons.

Click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon.

On the Desktop, click and drag the USB Storage icon to the Trash Can icon. The

Trash Can icon will turn into an Eject icon indicating that it is safe to remove the
MicroSD Card from the MicroSD Card Slot on the Docking Station.
Physically Removing the MicroSD Card
Push the MicroSD Card into the MicroSD Card Slot on the Docking Station until

the MicroSD Card clicks. The MicroSD Card will be ejected from the MicroSD Card
Slot.
Pull the MicroSD Card out of the MicroSD Card Slot.

Driver Installation
The drivers should install automatically, however, if they do not, you will need to
manually install the driver.
Download the drivers from www.startech.com/CDP2HVGUASPD. Click on the

Support tab, under Drivers, select the appropriate driver package for the Operating
System running on the Host Computer.
Once you have download and unzipped the driver. Click on the Installation Guide

PDF and follow the instructions.
