Installing the Flash Adapter
Warnings: Do not drop, bend, or crush the Compact Flash Adapter.
Keep the Compact Flash Card away from moisture.
Keep the connectors on the Compact Flash Card clean.
Avoid placing the Compact Flash Card in direct sunlight or high
temperature environments.

Function
Port.
Note: The PCMCIA Connector is keyed and will
only fit into the PCMCIA Port one way.
Adapter.
Note: The Compact Flash Connector is keyed
and the Compact Flash Card will only fit into
the connector one way.

Do not twist or angle the Compact Flash Card or Adapter during
installation or removal. Doing so could damage the pins on the Compact
Flash Card, Adapter, or Host.
1. Before installation, make sure that the Adapter is label side up.
2. Slide the Compact Flash Card connector into the Compact Flash Connector on the
Adapter, label side up.
3. Slide the Adapter into a PCMCIA Port on the Host.
Removing the Flash Adapter
1. Gently pull the Adapter from the PCMCIA Port.
2. Remove the Compact Flash Card from the Adapter.
