xit Menu Categories
To access the Exit menu (see Figure 4-5), use the arrow
keys to highlight Exit. The following subsections
describe each of the System Setup categories in the Exit
menu.
Save Changes & Exit
The BIOS stores the changes you have made in a comple-
mentary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS), exits the
System Setup program, and reboots the system. When
your system reboots, the BIOS configures the system
according to the selections stored in CMOS.

Get Default Values
Loads the default values for each menu in the System
Setup program.
Load Previous Values
Loads the values previously stored in CMOS for each

Save Changes
Stores your changes in CMOS, but does not exit the Sys-
tem Setup program.
Saves all changes made
in the Setup program to
CMOS, exits the Setup
program, and then re-
boots the computer.
