Sw it ching D isplay f or D iscs
Sw itch the display that appears w hilst discs are playing.

Sw itching Display for Discs:

Each time you press the DISP button, the display during disc
play sw itches as follow s.
Track time
Disc name
Disc title (Units featuring CD text/M D only)
Track title (Units featuring CD text/M D only)
Clock (KRC-859R/C/W, 759R only)
N OTE
• You can give names to discs through the presetting disc name
function (see p. 26). Note that depending on the unit, display
may not be possible.
• If you try to display the name of a disc that does not have one,
"NO NAM E" is displayed instead.
• The clock is displayed only w hen the Sw itching Clock display
function (P.32) is on.
• When there is an attempt to display the title of a disc for w hich
the disc title/track title has not been recorded, "NO TEXT" is
displayed for CD and "NO NAM E" is displayed for M D.
• Depending on the type of characters of the CD Text, some
characters may not be displayable.

Text Scroll

This function permits the text to be scrolled and the entire
text to be displayed. Sw itching betw een manual scrolling and
automatic scrolling is permitted. The factory default is manual
scrolling.
To scroll manually:

Press the DISP button to display the disc title or the track title.

in one scrolling display of the titles.
M anual/ Automatic scroll sw itching:

Hold dow n the M ENU button for one second or more.
"M ENU" is displayed and the menu mode is turned on.

Press the ¢ button repeatedly to sw itch the function to be
set to the text scroll function.
Pressing the 4 button results in the functions being
sw itched in the reverse order.
The text scroll function is displayed w ith "SCROLL M ANU" or
"SCROLL AUTO".
"SCROLL M ANU" (M anual scrolling)
"SCROLL AUTO" (Automatic scrolling)

Sw itching settings
Press either the AM button or FM button.
The display and setting w ill change.

Press the M ENU button to end the menu mode.
To scroll automatically:

Press the DISP button to display the disc title or the track title.
The titles w ill be displayed in one scrolling display.
N OTE
When the disc or track to be played changes, the title is
displayed in one scrolling display.
